Buttercrumble Exhibits Design in London
London. It's not just the capital of the UK. It’s the creative and cultural Capital, recognised globally.
Therefore, we could not pass on a trip to see Buttercrumble’s design concept exhibited at Somerset House for the London Design Biennale. We had to see the show with our own eyes and acknowledge the exciting range of creativity on display.
Buttercrumble Exhibits Illustration in Hong Kong
Buttercrumble was delighted to visit Hong Kong during BODW CityProg. This was a citywide programme that engaged the creative community and businesses across the region.
As the UK was the 2019 partner nation, we had the chance to showcase our work which was an opportunity we seized with both hands! We took part in the COLLATE exhibition at 7 Mallory Street, curated by Marmalade on Toast (now Thursday Design Studio).
Little Monsters Join The Little Bookshop
It was a ghoulish delight to collaborate with some little monsters at The Little Bookshop last month. To celebrate Halloween we hosted a spooky workshop where we helped local children to develop their drawing skills and create a portrait that captured their scary alter-ego on paper. It was so much fun to add an eerie twist to our drawings.
Pop Up & Play Co. & Tom Joy: The Fun of Food
We absolutely loved working on Pop Up & Play Co.'s recent brand refresh earlier this year. When they asked us whether we'd like to create some illustrated activity sheets for their latest exhibition, we couldn't wait to start drawing!
WANDER: The Old Red Bus Station Exhibition
In January we exhibited at The Old Red Bus Station alongside fellow illustrator, Adam Menzies. Our first exhibition of the year (titled WANDER) challenged viewers to see their environment in a new way. It launched on the 12th of January, 2017. It has now been a month since the exhibition ended and we wanted to reflect on this.
Venturefest Yorkshire 2016
Hello! Abigail speaking. This Wednesday I visited Venturefest at York Racecourse and wanted to share my great experience with you. The exhibition saw many local businesses displaying their work, knowledge, skills and advice across the sector from technology to creative agencies.
This new beginning motivates us to reinvent ourselves, exercise our strengths, and remedy our foibles. I find this especially true of our young generation climbing social ladders and (literally) growing out of their former selves!
