Live Illustration at Seasalt Cornwall, Lytham
Seasalt Cornwall launched a beautiful new store in Lytham, Lancashire and we were delighted to be invited to its opening. There were giveaways, gifts, Cornish saffron buns, fudge and illustrations by us. We were in residence from 11am - 4pm and illustrated lots of lovely customers whilst there.
John Lewis Live Christmas Illustration Tour
It's been an exciting time at the Buttercrumble HQ. After illustrating at John Lewis in November, we are pleased to announce we'll be returning with an 11-day Christmas Illustration Tour. Over December, we will be visiting John Lewis' northern stores to capture customers in cute portrait form. We want to invite YOU into Moz the Monster’s world through illustration which sparks the imagination. Together, we will be creating the perfect festive atmosphere through live illustration in-store.
Live Portrait Illustration at John Lewis
Earlier this November, we had the pleasure of performing live illustration at John Lewis' flagship store in Leeds. It was a joy to create customer portraits in a beautiful retail setting as part of John Lewis' Christmas Shopping Event. We were certainly feeling festive by the end of the evening!
Live Portrait Illustration at Victoria Gate, Leeds
This month we had the pleasure of setting up our easels in the gorgeous setting of the Victoria Gate shopping centre in Leeds. We were thrilled to take part in their Shopping Affair event which even saw, Strictly Stars, James and Ola Jordan take the stage.
Our role at the Shopping Affair involved illustrating guests. We love performing live illustration at retail events like this because of the smiles we create. Each person received a bespoke portrait which they could take home and treasure forever. The portraits make beautiful mementos and conversation-starters.
This new beginning motivates us to reinvent ourselves, exercise our strengths, and remedy our foibles. I find this especially true of our young generation climbing social ladders and (literally) growing out of their former selves!
